FOR THE MEN:

The Masculine Soul: A Men’s Gathering

Men of Apex, mark your calendars for April 15-16 (Friday 7-9pm and Saturday 9am-2:45pm). We will be hosting a two day men’s gathering here at Apex to explore what it means to reflect God’s glory as men.  Bring your sons (15 and older) and tell your house church, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Watch for more information on The City, in the lobby and in the Apex program and announcements in the coming weeks. Lunch will be provided (donations accepted).

The weekend will include four main teaching sessions (in addition to Q&A) over such concepts as:

  • Man as prophet
  • Man as priest
  • Man as king

Women’s empowerment among the Dalits of India

What an opportunity that Operation Mobilization has brought to us!

On Thursday March 5 at 6:00 p.m. you’ll have an opportunity to meet with two women leaders who represent the work of women’s empowerment among the Dalits.  Here is the bio for one of the ladies, Sushma:

Sushma Parmar is OM India’s North India leader for women’s empowerment ministries among Dalit and Christian women within the Good Shepherd Community Church movement.  The goal of Sushma’s work is to build self-worth among women, enhance their practical and ministry skills, and help them in bringing up a christian family.  Sushma is a native of the North Indian State of Gujarat, India, and she earned her Bachelors of Science degree and her Bachelors of Education degree from Gujarat University.  Sushma and her husband Moses have two teenagers.  Moses is OM India’s North India Field leader.

We’d love to have you and your house church join us – a light dinner will be provided.  Please R.S.V.P. to Amy Meredith at amy.meredith@apexcommunity.org.
