How To Connect

College and Apex

Many churches choose to organize and staff ministries devoted solely for the purpose of a “college ministry.” In fact, Apex began as such a ministry. While we value our college students (we actually LOVE our college students) we do not have an exclusive network-wide ministry for college students at Apex.

We do, however, value highly the role of young adults in the church. We urge students to get involved with a house church. In that smaller family of believers, oftentimes with folks of varying ages, students have an opportunity to connect with other young people, families, more mature brothers and sisters, and even children who can build into the lives of students in wonderful ways. We also recognize that most colleges (public and private) actually have vibrant ministries on their campuses directed toward students, and we encourage involvement in those ministries. As for ministry within the body of Apex, we welcome students into our house churches along with all other ages and life stages. Such is the Body of Christ!

With that said, student and singles activities have been known to happen through the informal (yet very personal) collection of believers in a house church. For that matter, many of our house church regions (collection of many house churches) organize gatherings for specific groups such as men, singles, etc.
